That's What She Wrote

Silent Goodbye

When the world

gets quiet.

the thoughts

get loud.

They swirl,

into clouds.

clouds

filled with

fragments of

unfinished conversations.

Goodbyes left in said.

Forgotten dreams

and the echoes

of every "never"

I have ever

Spoken.

Beneath them,

ideas

swim like

fish in

deep waters

Always fleeting

Always retreating.

Some carry fear

some carry hope

some carry

truths

I have spent

far too long

avoiding

They wait

every so

present.

hidden beneath

distractions

Obligations

NOISE

NOISE so

loud it

Sounded like

Silence.

But Silence

has a way

of clearing

Slowly, who

was once blurred.

begins to take Shapes
